Women's Stories
The stories here shed some light on the experiences of current and past women councillors and management in local government. Included are also male champions with their views on strengthening women’s participation in local government.
Recently included are the profiles of women’s human rights defenders whose courageous work to defend human/women’s rights have pushed boundaries and inspired others to join their cause. These women were officially honored for their work by the Fiji Women’s Rights Movement in late 2011.
