Helen Tavola has been a long time member of FWRM and in 2002 became one of its three trustees. As a trustee and member, Helen’s analysis and guidance on gender and education has helped FWRM’s advocacy, particularly on education policy and practice.

Helen works quietly and consistently for Pacific communities, over the course of a long career in Fiji and the Pacific. She brings her wisdom and learning to bear on many of the issues facing Pacific women and their families. Helen is a true friend of the Movement.
